hi everyone, just wondering if anyone else is off work on the sick at the moment? i', 2.5 weeks into my 4 (possibly 6) weeks off and i am bored to tears already. I'd love some suggestions of things that i can do one-handedly to pass the time (i'm in a big splint, recovering from surgery on ruptured tendons in my right hand). I've been to the cinema quite a lot but i can't afford to be spending every day, but if i sit too long on the sofa i end up going crazy and trying to clean the shower or something! have a good day folks Laura

There are lots of us at home long term Laura so you can always chat on here! I can't think of much else you could do one handed, but I hope the op went well and you make a quick recovery.
Love, Doreen xx

Laura - have you spoken to NRAS about forming a group? They are brilliant when we started Bolton RAS. Other suggestions - fun ones, of course. One handed pole and tassel dancing. Spinning on one hand. Much love and hope you are soon back to normal. Jeanxx

Now Jean, remember what happened the last time you tried the one-handed pole-dancing? Wasn`t that when Mary L had to have her ceiling repaired? Kathleen x Laura - do you like crossword puzzles? I do a lot, and like to pretend they keep my brain working!

Have you got a Nintendo Ds? I play sudoku on there and scrabble. Trust Kathleen to remind us all of Jean's disastrous one-handed pole dancing Doreen xx
